⚠️ The Mage class has a known softlock bug. If you select Mage without completing the prerequisite quest, your character can become permanently stuck. Follow this guide exactly.
The softlock occurs when players select Mage at the class selection screen without first completing the 'Arcane Initiation' quest. This quest is hidden and not shown in the normal quest log.
🧙Safe Unlock Steps
- Reach Level 15 with any class (Warrior recommended)
- Go to the Library in the main town
- Talk to the NPC 'Archmage Elara' (hidden behind bookshelves)
- Accept the 'Arcane Initiation' quest
- Collect 3 Mana Crystals from the Crystal Cave
- Return to Archmage Elara to complete the quest
- NOW you can safely select Mage at the class change NPC
If you're already softlocked, try rejoining the server. Some players report this fixes the issue. If not, contact the developers on Discord.

- Mage has the highest DPS potential but lowest HP
- Stay at range — Mage dies quickly in melee
- Use AoE spells for efficient mob farming
